Doctors Program

Certificate Course in Common Mental Disorders for Doctors

There is a severe shortage of mental health professionals in India, especially with a population well over one billion people, and increasing rise in mental illness. The stigma associated with mental illness, encourages those who are trying to seek help, to consult General Physicians instead of mental health professionals. Our certificate course aims to enhance the knowledge, skills and core competencies of Primary Care Physicians in the identification and management of common mental disorders. We hope that our capacity building program helps to reduce the burden on the limited number of qualified mental healthcare professionals in the country.
